Now this one is really special. Unlike the other 2-piece rods, we felt that this blank is DECIDEDLY superior in the 4-piece blank, so that is the only way we make this one. For those of you who are not familiar with "travel" rods, a 4-piece rod has a faster taper than 2-piece rods. The taper, and the resultant action from the rod, are PERFECT in this weight.
We feel that this rod compares in castability and action to some of the $400 - $500 rods that you see on the market. We make this 9 foot rod with a gold accented graphite reel seat for weight, and put a fighting butt on the end. |
